It's happening! The World of Warcraft: Forever open beta on ForeverWoW is live. The server is open to everyone — no invites, no applications, no queues: sign up, grab the client and jump in.

How to start playing

1. Create an account in the account area: e-mail, the link from the letter, a password. That e-mail and password are your game login.
2. Download the mini client on the How to play page — it is about 150 MB.
3. Unpack the archive into any folder, open _classic_beta_ and run ForeverBetaLauncher.exe. On the first start the launcher downloads the rest of the game files, so give it a while. The launcher installs updates by itself too. Always start the game through the launcher — running WowB.exe directly opens the game, but you will not be able to log in.
4. Log in with your account details. The server address is already set. The client is in English.

Good to know

• It's a beta, so there will be bugs. That's exactly what it's for: the more you find now, the smoother the launch.
• There will be a wipe before launch — beta characters and items will not be kept. So feel free to try everything: pick a race and class, explore the zones, gather a guild.
• Found a bug? Post it on the forum: what you did, your character name, where and when it happened. The more detail, the faster we fix it.
