FAQ
The short answers
What is World of Warcraft: Forever?
Blizzard's continuation of the classic game: the road to level 60 through a renewed Azeroth with new zones, the Skyborne race, dungeons, raids and new systems. The beta runs from September 17 and the release is set for November 4, 2026.
Can I play right now?
Yes, the open beta is live and anyone can join. There will be a wipe before launch: beta characters will not be kept.
Which client do I need?
The World of Warcraft: Forever mini client from the How to play page. Unpack it and run ForeverBetaLauncher.exe — it downloads the rest of the game by itself. Always start the game through the launcher: with WowB.exe on its own you will not be able to log in.
Is the project English-only?
This site, support and the community here are in English. The same team runs a Russian-speaking side of the project on a separate site.
Do I need an invite for the beta?
No. Sign up in the account area, download the client and log in. We do not collect applications anywhere.
How do I report a bug?
Post on the forum: what you did, your character name, where and when it happened. That makes the bug easier to find and fix.
